Green Turtle is located just one hour (by plane or 160 miles) from Florida. Some of the best diving in the Bahamas is located just off shore.
This map shows Green Turtle Cay in more detail. The island is about 1 mile wide by 3 miles long (and continually growing). The inner reef is accessible from shore and the outer reef is just a short distance by boat. It will take about 20 minutes to drive to New Plymouth from Coconut Cabana by road (it is a beautiful, but bumpy drive) and 5 minutes by boat.
There are Turtles on Green Turtle Cay! Dive with turtles, videos provided by reefvid.org an educational site to enhance reef awareness. Please be aware of what it means just to step on the reef.
The Abacos are fondly referred to as "the Bahamas Family Islands" You will arrive either at TCB airport or MHH airport. After clearing customs, take a taxi to the Ferry Dock and board a Bolla Ferry to Green Turtle Cay.
